I have a been a customer for over 10 years with multiple websites. I have not been able to access my e-mail for my main website for over a month. Customer service says that my IP Address is blocked, but they can't explain why I do have access to my other website e-mail for my smaller websites AT THE SAME IP ADDRESS.
Unfortunately, customer service questions are never answered by the same person, even on "replies". I have had to repeat my issue and attach the same screenshots multiple times per day. I still don't have a resolution and will not be renewing ANY of my sites with them. The amount of business that has been lost over not accessing my e-mail is unprofessional on a business level and unforgivable on an ethics level. I'm hoping that I can at least salvage some of my contacts before my "service" expires.
Well I'm down again, and this is hard for a small business. Hell I can't even get their web site to come up so I can try to find out what in hell is going on? I've been with them 20+ years, but that may soon come to an end:(
I've been a customer of MacHighway for over 12 years. They used to be different. They were Mac based. They actually listened to their customers, and were readily available when issues arose.
Hackers have been breaking into one of my sites every few weeks for over a year. They change my passwords, send out spam emails, and install bots to further their dirty work. Every time it's happened, it's taken days to get their customer service department to even acknowledge me. Their "chat" support has never worked, so it's just email which sits in somebody's inbox somewhere in India for days sometimes before there is any response. They treat me like an idiot, and do the absolute least amount of work necessary. Typically, they make up in their minds what they suppose the problem is without reading my entire email. So they'll send pointless or irrelevant responses that, again, take days to set right. What's worse, no one at MacHighway seems to care one way or the other, and don't seem to want to prevent it from happening again.
So, the final straw was TWO break-ins in the past THREE days. I'm moving to another service provider. Good riddance.
I have used this hosting service for years. Occasionally there would be hiccups during a transition, but things were usually resolved quickly. I use the Weebly site builder because I am not doing anything complicated. I just need a basic site. Unfortunately, the one basic thing I need is to be able to access the builder to edit my site. I have been unable to access the site editor for months. It's not user error. I have created tickets, they have been escalated. Machighway is working on it. Whatever. I'm so over it.
They removed my website and can't get it back. Really horrible. DO NOT use this company. No one at the customer center first of all, only chat agent which said they would call me but none happened.
Does anyone else believe that there could be a class action lawsuit here against MacHighway.com? Have been with the company for over 15 years and over the past three there is literally no customer service or tech support at all and my emails and sites have been down so many times that i have lost business and also had some of my best clients that I hosted jump ship on me some of which were even family due to poor service from MacHighway. They continually advertise 24/7/365 support service yet the chat line is constantly down or busy so that is 100% false advertising. On top of this we are all paying for their services which in my opinion are not even services at all. Would jump ship but have over 15 years of my websites, customer websites and more with them and it is apparent that NO ONE within the company is willing to help nor reply. I am going through the same thing with them, they are horrible. It takes 5-10 hours for a reply to comeback saying is fix and yet I check and is not. I am very stress out I lost business I lost viewers I lost so much. and Yet Machigway is not doing anything.
I have hosted around 20 sites with MacHighway. Service and support started great ... now it is the worst. They upgraded C-Panel with no notice, and no support for their web builder. I have not been able to access it for 2 months. I have a support ticket thats been opened since March 24. MARCH 24!!! THE WORST .. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
This company used to be great when they were in Colorado. They are awful with regards to service. Changed the C-Panel interface with no notice. Changed servers with no notice. I used the Weebly web builder for severals sites and cannot access the builder after the c-panel upgrade. Support ticket is 1 1/2 months old. MACHIGHWAY IS TERRIBLE!!!!!!!
