The easy truth is, all the other hosting providers you see in this very site do not own any of their hardware (mostly), they depend on providers like OVH to do this. Why am I saying this? Because I don't get why OVH is rated this low. It's not a bad hosting company at all, no, rather they are the gods of all other hosting companies if you think about it (not all, but a DECENT bunch) So please don't get deceived by these reviews from unprofessional people. OVH has a large variety of products and their specialization is with dedicated servers, but I was using their shared hosting and despite the low focus, it still works better and is way budget friendly compared to many providers. If you are someone that actually can use their brain and doesn't need support for every little issue... this company is perfect.

When you don't notice the problems they have then your demands are just way to low to experience this.
Can you tell me if it's normal and professional that every day my server gets disconnected from the network, resulting in package loss which results in my clients getting disconnected. OVH now just turned of the monitoring to ignore the issues.
So when you label this at 'the only true hosting provider' i'm worried about your professionalism.

Hab mir das Cloud Web Paket für 12€ im Monat gekauft.
Selbst bei kleinen Fragen oder Anmerkungen weißt der Support darauf hin das diese keinerlei Unterstützung geben und des doch bezahlte externe Hilfe gibt. Die Antwortzeiten betragen meist 2-3 Tage welches nur über Ticketsystem gibt. Ich bin jetzt bei einem anderen Hoster und diese Antwortet sofort per Live-Chat und unterstützt.
ich möchte meine extrem schlechte Erfahrung mit OVH mit Ihnen teilen. Damit Sie nicht auch in diese Lage geraten in der Ich gerade bin. Mein altes Hosting bei OVH ist ausgelaufen und ich wollt mein Email Abo verlängern. Als ich mir dann mein neues EmailPro Paket bestellt habe, habe ich bemerkt das meine Email auf meiner eigenen Domain bereits vergeben ist. Ich habe den Support Kontaktiert, damit dieser mir meine Email freischaltet.
Antwort des Supports: Ich soll ein Foto meines ausweises per Email schicken, um meine Emailadresse verwenden zu können.
Gut das habe ich dann gemacht, habe aber bis heute keine antwort bekommen. --> Das war vor 4 Wochen
Ich habe dann nach einer Zeit wieder dem Support geschrieben, das ich es nicht einsehe für einen Service zu zahlen den ich nicht verwenden kann. Antwort des Supports: Der Support sagte mir nur, das sie mir bereits alles in der ersten Nachricht geschrieben haben.
Zusammengefasst: Zahle ich jetzt seint einem Monat die Domain und das Email Hosting, doch verwenden konnte ich es kein einziges mal. Fazit: Wenn sie gerade auf der suche nach einem Hostinganbieter sind, empfehle ich ihnen die Finger von OVH zu lassen. Der Kundensupport ist frech und hilft nicht. Supporttickets werden sofort geschlossen, auch wenn man den support bittet dies nicht zu tun.
Miserabler Kundenservice, absolut nicht weiterzuempfehlen! Kundendienst/Support war vor einigen Jahren (wir sind seit 2012 Kunde gewesen) noch in Ordnung. Seit zwei Jahren ist der Support MISERABEL und vollkommen IGNORANT. OVH führte bei uns Updates durch, die unsere Internetpräsenz über 5 Wochen nicht nutzbar machte. Trotz mehrfacher Beschwerdemails erfolgte keine Reaktion oder ein Zeichen, etwas ausbessern zu wollen. Auch die Geschäftsführung war keineswegs daran interessiert einen Lösungsvorschlag zu erbringen. Der einzige Kommentar war, dass es "Ihnen leid tut".
Wir werden den Rechtsweg gehen und alle Kundenaccounts kündigen. Unser Fazit: FINGER WEG VON OVH!
